Needle and Pin Method

Our go-to method for stubborn knots involves using a needle or pin. Gently work the needle back and forth to loosen the knot. For particularly tight knots, using two needles is most effective. Insert one needle into each side of the knot and gently pull apart. This approach allows you to gain traction from both ends, providing better leverage to loosen the knot. Be patient and avoid pulling too hard to prevent damaging the chain.

Soapy Water

One of the simplest ways to untangle your chains is with a bit of dish soap. Apply a small amount to the knot, which helps the tangle slide more easily. Massage the knot with your fingers and watch it begin to loosen. Once untangled, clean the necklace with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly.

Baby Powder

If you prefer not to use dish soap, baby powder is a great alternative. This multi-use powder reduces friction, making it easier to untangle the chain. After applying the baby powder, gently pull the knot apart with your needles. Afterwards, wipe and clean the necklace with a soft cloth.
